Qi Ren Yue Dui plot
Drawing on personal experiences, seven renowned directors from Hong Kong made a short film about their home city. The result is a collective ode to that special metropolis, where most of the skyscrapers in the world are now located and a westernized generation eats hamburgers rather than steamed rice rolls. Each director tells their story in a different decade of Hong Kong's history, from the colonial 1950s to the site of political turmoil and uncertainty it is today.
