Screaming Mimi plot
"Suspense around every curve!"
Exotic dancer Virginia Wilson witnesses a man being shot and killed by her stepbrother Charlie Weston right after he tried to kill her with a knife while showering. She is slightly injured. After this traumatic experience for Virginia, she enters therapy with the psychiatrist Dr. greenwood. He falls in love with her and then arranges her life, despite Virginia's insistence that she continue her work at Joann "Gypsy" Mapes' "El Madhouse" nightclub. Meanwhile, journalist Bill Sweeny investigates the attempted murder of Virginia and learns that all the buyers of the 'Screaming Mimi' statuette were killed by a maniacal serial killer with a knife and that the statuettes were made by Virginia's stepbrother Charlie Weston.
