A father and a son are given a miracle lamp in the shape of a swan, with which you can determine whether someone is telling the truth or lying. They begin to question its usefulness and whether it is wise to know when someone is telling the truth. They decide to let the lamp 'disappear' in the midst of the replicas that a factory is now producing because everyone wants to own such a lamp.
