I did appreciate this movie. It's not Lord of the Rings! Very cheaply put together, but the makers don't try to disguise that anywhere. It is what it is. Sometimes witty, sometimes very silly, but all in all fun.

Mmmm. Apparently not very popular here. That doesn't surprise me as these types of videos are never appreciated on MM, but I do like them.

The plot itself is of course not much, but it does have the potential to be really fun/good. However, that doesn't happen anywhere. The film looks very low budget and I was surprised to see that IMDB said it still had a budget of $300,000.

The acting was quite poor, but because the two park rangers do not take their roles seriously at all, this is never disturbing and even quite funny.

The orcs are the biggest drawback of the film. You can't get me a couple of midgets in armor. The action is also very disappointing. 1 bullet from a pistol at a distance of 200 meters is enough to penetrate the armor of the orcs and kill them. The orcs are all killed in the same monotonous way and that brings boredom. Especially because it is not spectacular at all, despite the fact that it invited delicious over the top gore.

There are also a few hilarious mistakes in the film. For example, the length of the fuse of a dynamite changes from 5cm (when it is lit) to more than 30cm (when the dynamite arrives).

Too bad, because it could have been so much better.

Still, the nice Lord of the Rings references and the nice humor between the 2 rangers make for an entertaining film that still gets a pass, but had much more potential.

'Watched it today on Blu-ray, thought it was a reasonable film, I expected a kind of ''Wrong Turn'' type film with cannibals, so to speak, and the cover also looked very good on the Blu-ray, but the film is still completely different.

I thought it was very bland, especially the 1st hour with the 2 forest rangers, it looked like Police Academy or a children's series I was watching, later there was also a girl who helped them.

The Orcs only come fully into view after about an hour and from then on the tension returns, especially when the rangers are in the ''station'' and the Orcs are approaching, which is very exciting.

From then on until the end I enjoyed myself and it was still a nice movie.

It was also nice that there was some sort of final battle.

All in all a bland and childish first 50 minutes, then tension and action!

Hence an average film because much more could have been achieved because the location was okay.
