The most bizarre movie I've seen lately. Saw a lot of bizarre things in this print, which made it quite fun to watch Naked Lunch, but I can hardly tell what this was about. To be honest, I don't think there's any story in it at all. I think Peter Wellers is a bit boring for this role. For a drug movie, I'd rather have an actor like Johnny Depp in the lead. Ian Holm manages a little better. Fortunately, Naked Lunch has some horrifying images up its sleeve. Like it's a drug warning.

'Naked Lunch' has a number of wonderfully vague scenes and has a nice dry comic main character with Peter Weller, but the whole thing didn't work. So far, the print has mainly relied on some good isolated moments. In terms of setting it is good and the music fits well in the nice atmosphere, but as a whole I couldn't do much with it. Expect this to be a movie that can stick.
