Miranda plot

"Miranda Has Everything!"

Miranda (Glynis Johns) is a mermaid who is caught by a fisherman. Hospitalized, she manages to cover her tail fin with a blanket and pretends to be a patient of the handsome doctor Paul Marten (Griffith Jones), much to the dismay of Paul's jealous wife Clare (Googie Withers). Meanwhile, Miranda meets Charles (David Tomlinson) and wants to be normal and happy with him. But every time she gets wet, her tail fin comes out clearly again.
