Elizabeth Roffe (Audrey Hepburn) is a strong, intelligent woman who inherits her family's pharmaceutical empire when her father is killed in a mysterious accident. The investigation into her father's death uncovers a murder. The suspects include all of Elizabeth's closest advisers and relatives, including her new husband.
