Mad about Men plot

Miranda is a mermaid who switches places with her human cousin Caroline while Caroline goes on vacation. Caroline, who is a teacher by trade, looks exactly like Miranda, so switching places shouldn't be too difficult. Caroline is about to get married and is already engaged, but Miranda doesn't like her betrothed. When Miranda (who is now Caroline) falls in love with a human man, she ensures that the wedding of her fiancé does not take place and that she will marry her new love. Suspecting Miranda is a mermaid, a woman asks her to perform at a concert so that her real identity will eventually be revealed. Caroline reads about the concert and hurries back to switch places with Miranda. The problem is, Miranda can sing, but Caroline can't.

Miranda was quite an entertaining fantasy comedy, and this one certainly is too: a mermaid with almost nymphomaniac tendencies who doesn't take morals too seriously. It makes for a number of entertaining scenes; the story is a bit more daring than the average Disney film but has a high Disney factor. Otherwise, the plot is very simple but fun.
