"Everything is about to change."
The adventure begins when Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn—Tom’s friend from the slums—witness a murder in the graveyard. Tom and Huck flee to Jackson Island and make a pact never to tell anyone about the incident. But when the kind-hearted Muff Potter, held responsible for the murder, is sentenced to death by hanging, Tom breaks his promise and returns to exonerate Muff Potter. During the trial, Injun Joe, the real murderer, manages to flee the courtroom in a panic. Shortly afterward, Tom and Huck find clues to a treasure and must face Injun Joe again.
