Sklenený Dum plot
Pavla is placed in an orphanage, also a home for underprivileged children, while her father is 'free' to concentrate on his own life. Pavla develops an unhealthy dependency on her group's house mother, Jarmila to the point where she is jealous of Jarmila's fiancé. Unable to continue in the role Pavla has assigned her, Jarmila takes steps to end the dependency, regardless of the outcome.
