Skazka o Tsare Saltane plot

At the birth of the Russian Tsar Saltan, two of the Tsarina's sisters-in-law, through jealousy-motivated deceit, think that they will lose mother and son forever by leaving them in a barrel at sea. However, the pair are stranded on a desert island where they meet a swan with magical powers. When young Saltan rescues her from the clutches of a hawk, a bountiful reward lies ahead.
