Mom, Can I Keep Her? plot

"500 pounds of furry fun..."

A gorilla is not treated well by its owner, but abuse is difficult to prove for animal protection. The gorilla decides to escape herself and ends up with a boy who wants to keep her. However, his mother was already very negative about the idea of adopting a dog, so he fears he will not be allowed to keep the gorilla.
