On her 18th birthday, Constanze learns a well-kept secret: she is said to have six brothers, who were transformed into snow-white swans on the day of Constanze's birth through a thoughtless word from their father. Only Constanze can undo the curse. If she doesn't speak a word for six years and sews shirts from nettles, the swans will become human again. Constanze doesn't hesitate for a second.
