Amba plot
Prabha lives a rich life with her widower father and her brother. She receives a marriage proposal from the also rich man, but rejects him and marries Rajendra. She moves to live with him and his mother, and his wayward brother, where she soon gives birth to Rajat. Rajendra, who secretly visits local courtesan Munnibai, comes home drunk one night and rapes and kills their maid Geeta.
