Friends Scott and Emily find a secret room in Scott's grandmother's house. In the room they meet the mysterious creature Rufus and the wizard Abbot, who have come to the human world because their own magical world is in danger. Scott and Emily come to the rescue and attempt to create magical dust using an Abbot's spellbook.
