A Hitch in Time plot
Paul and Fiona are late for school when they hear a cry for help in the castle. There they find a flying saucer-like object containing Adam Wagstaff, an inventor who claims to have invented a time machine. The children decide to make themselves available as guinea pigs and are transported to various times, where they encounter and fight ancestors of their hated history teacher 'Sniffy' Kemp.
