"So many dogs. So little time."
The evil Cruella de Vil is a fashion giant with a dangerous love for fur. Cruella's fashion designer Anita and her husband Roger are overjoyed when their Dalmatians Pongo and Perdita become the proud parents of a litter of adorable puppies. When Cruella hears about this, she does everything she can to get the furs of the Dalmatian puppies for her new clothing line. When she and two bumbling henchmen try to kidnap all the puppies from London, the furs run away.

Incredibly good how Glenn Close (a dog lover herself) portrays one of Disney's most infamous villain: Cruella de Vil. That witchy laugh of hers really does make you laugh. Just a small example of her hilarious portrayal: at one point one of her henchmen is attacked by a Dalmatian and what does Glenn Close do? She takes, as if nothing is wrong, just one more drag from her cigarette. (Now I'm not sure if this is from part 1 or part 2).
Glenn Close is president of the non-profit organization Bring Change to Mind whose mission is to break the stigma surrounding mental illness (her sister suffers from bipolar disorder). She herself says about the goal: 'I'd like for us to talk about mental illness the way we talk about any other chronic disease.'

Seen it dozens of times 'in the past', but in Dutch.
Now can be revised again by Disney+, in the original version though. And still find it great fun and nostalgia. Especially with all those live actions from Disney nowadays, this is really one of the better ones.
Cruella de Vill is truly one of Disney's most savage villains, in my opinion.
