"A woman torn between a man and a memory"
Zhou Yu's Train tells the story of a woman's determined, but ultimately fateful, quest for the ideal love. Against the background of daily life in Northern China, we meet Zhou Yu (Gong Li), an interior designer who seems to have found a soul mate in the librarian Chen Qing (Tony Leung Ka Fai). The only problem in this perfect love is that they live one day traveling away from each other. So, Zhou Yu takes the train twice a week to be with her beloved Chen. Veterinarian Zhang Qiang (Honglei Sun) also travels regularly with that train.
