Wuya Yu Maque plot
The struggle between the residents of an apartment complex in Shanghai owned by a corrupt government official. Hou confiscated the building from its former owner, Kong, during the Japanese occupation. Now, due to the turbulent political situation, he and his wife must leave the city and try to sell the house, which would evict all tenants from the complex. When the tenants discover this, they try to collude to keep their homes. However, some tenants disagree and make their own arrangements.
