"SNUBBED by officer's wives...because she wasn't "Navy Blue!""
Two days after they met, Lauralee and Marine Lieutenant Sam got married. When they want to board the ship that would take them to Sam's new base in Honolulu, Sam suddenly has to go to Washington. Lauralee embarks alone, where she meets admiral's daughter Rosalind, who is cold to her: she wanted to marry Sam, so she hangs around in case the marriage doesn't work out. Meanwhile, Lauralee becomes lonely, alone in Honolulu, until she reunites with an old friend, Greg.
