Who Do You Love plot

Leonard Chess, a Jewish immigrant, is a great lover of black music and the culture it entails. Along with his brother Phil and bassist and songwriter Willie Dixon, they bet on producing "race records". After some setbacks they achieve great success with Muddy Waters, after which Chess Records is born. Although Leonard does his best to maintain his family life with his wife Revetta and his son Marshal, his obsession with music puts a lot of strain on their relationship.
