Where the Red Fern Grows plot

Billy Coleman loves dogs and saves up for some hunting dogs. One day it will be so far. Billy buys two puppies and starts training the dogs himself. He wins competitions with it and has many adventures with his dogs, including a fight with a lion. Billy discovers true friendship, loyalty, and courage.
