West Virginia Stories plot
Three stories set in the desolate landscape of West Virginia reveal what it means to be alive, how to cope with trauma and what to do to survive in a small mining town. In “The Samaritan”, two hunters must make a life-changing decision when they witness a murder in the remote forests. In “Father and Son,” a young lobbyist returns to his rural hometown for a final confrontation with his dying father. “The Mayor” is about the mayor of a small town who performs his usual duties with the help of a young student and discovers elements of possible corruption.
