Were Dengê Min: Come To My Voice plot
In a Kurdish village, in a mountainous area, the peace is brutally disturbed by Turkish soldiers looking for weapons. Their search hardly yields anything. However, the commander is sure that there are weapons hidden, so he has every man picked up and taken away until the remaining inhabitants show where the weapons are. However, there is one big problem: there are no weapons. Desperate 70-year-old mother Berfé and her eight-year-old granddaughter Jiyan want their abducted son and father Temo back and go in search of something resembling a firearm themselves, hoping to free Temo.
