Wenn Abends die Heide Träumt plot

Shortly after the Second World War, friends Karl (Viktor Staal) and Peter (Rudolf Prack), who fought together as air force pilots, defuse explosives on the Lüneburg Heath. Peter falls in love with Helga (Margot Trooger), Karl's wife, but he doesn't want to offend his friend. He would rather go to Argentina.
