Weite Straßen - Stille Liebe plot

Hannes is an old and experienced truck driver. Along the way, he picks up a hitchhiker named Herb. Herb, a high school graduate and casual worker, later becomes Hannes' co-driver. He disturbs Hannes in his peace with questions and fantasy stories. He goes completely crazy when he meets Johanna. Hannes is already dreaming of a common future when the young woman suddenly makes a different decision. But Hannes has already started to think seriously about his life.
