The desert is eating the earth. The dry season continues, there is no water. The cattle die. And war is imminent. The majority of the inhabitants follow their instincts and leave for the South. Rahne, the only literate villager, decides to move east with his wife Mouna and their three children. A few sheep, goats and the Chamelle camel are their only source of wealth. Under a destructive sun, Rahne and his gang travel through hostile territory, a never-ending journey, often crossing the path of death...
