Walking Past the Future plot
Yang Yaoting is the daughter of elderly migrants who moved to the big city 25 years ago and whose main challenge lies in keeping up with social changes. To ensure the best possible care for her parents, Yaoting tries to participate in a number of medical experiments that provide a good income. However, the downside of this adventure is incalculable and soon Yaoting is faced with a number of difficult choices.
