Voice Over plot

'Fats' Bannerman is a popular radio host who tells his own romantic stories. His audience mainly consists of high school students. After winning an award, a painful interview with a journalist causes his show to become increasingly violent and Fats begins to lose his grip on reality. Then we see him bring a woman back to his house with a knife in her stomach. Is this really happening or is it an idea for a future radio show?
