Viva Cuba plot
Malú, a ten-year-old girl, and Jorgito have decided to remain friends for life. But even in Cuba there is no such thing as simple and eternal happiness. Malú's mother is somewhat bourgeois and fairly conservative Catholic and sees with regret that her daughter befriends the 'wrong' side: Jorgito's parents are after all loyal (and somewhat servile) party members. And she has more than that. culture and a higher degree of sophistication! She is a single mother who wants to live with her boyfriend in the United States. And of course her daughter comes with them - who asks the opinion of a child? Malú and Jorgito decide to flee together and to look for her natural father who lives on the other side of Cuba.
