Vienos Dienos Kronika plot
Rimša is judge. Just before the next session, he learns that his old comrade Muratov has died. He is reminded of his time with him during the Spanish Civil War. Rimša decides to go to the funeral in Leningrad. During the trial, he meets a witness to a murder who happened to be a student of Muratov's. At the airport he meets this Venckus again.
