Verdens Undergang plot
The film revolves around West, a mine manager, and his two daughters Edith and Dina. Edith falls in love with sailor Reymers, while Dina runs off with unscrupulous capitalist mine owner Frank Stoll. When a comet is rumored to be heading toward Earth, Stoll exploits the situation to make huge profits in the stock market. On the night of the comet's alleged incursion, Stoll invites his friends to his villa for a grand orgy. The workers in the village are furious about the situation and storm the villa. Meanwhile, the last hours on Earth seem to have arrived.
