Venise en Hiver plot

Hélène Morel (Yolande Folliot) flees her possessive lover, whose wife has tried to take her own life, and flees to Venice one winter morning, where she moves in with her aunt, who is married to an Italian banker. There she experiences a beautiful love story, which, however, is set against a somewhat bleaker background: terrorism in the 1970s.
