Vater Mutter Mörderkind plot

Julius (Klaus J. Behrendt) is a former terrorist who goes into hiding in 1980 with the help of the Stasi. He marries kindergarten teacher Uschi (Franziska Troegner), who has a three-year-old son. In 1990, thanks to the files of the same Stasi, he was arrested and imprisoned during a raid. Wife Uschi is deeply hurt, because she knew nothing of his terrorist past. His stepson Karl (Sebastian Reznicek) - now thirteen years old - wants to free him from prison and comes up with all sorts of things to achieve his goal. However, things don't turn out the way the kid would like.
