Vaastupurush plot

Renowned doctor Bhaskar Narayan Deshpande returns to his village after 40 years. He tries to reconstruct his childhood experiences with all the characters and their lives around him. The present makes him do things for the village that he had forgotten all these years. It was not a Gandhian freedom fighter, nor his feudal uncle or elder brother but his mother who motivated him to become a doctor in the service of the poor.
