Very nice film with beautiful shots and beautiful scenes. Also regularly having to laugh out loud at certain situations.

Well yes, the Swedish version of 'Farmer seeks woman', it looks a lot like it and immediately the reasons why this man is still single appear. He has little knowledge of organizing the household and his social contacts are also very limited. A naive and gullible man, who lives from day to day.
A fine role by the way from Lassgard who rarely disappoints. The interplay with the beautiful Bergström is beautiful and contains chemistry. The film never gets boring and I was interested every minute in the further development of the character of farmer Olof.
Erik on the other hand was just a nasty guy and you felt from the beginning that his friendship wasn't sincere. The setting was fairytale with some very idyllic images by the water or in the field. The film is in many ways reminiscent of The Bridges of Madison County (Film, 1995) with and by Clint Eastwood.
