Un Seul Amour plot

In 1814 the dancer Clara Biondi married Gérard Clergue. Their happy marriage is disrupted a few years later by her former lover. Clergue catches them in the act and knocks the man down. He flees, believing that he has killed his rival. Clara dies shortly afterwards and hopes to find her one true love again in the afterlife: her husband.
