A weekend in 1965. The beginning is still like the beginning of all other weekends. Best friends Marlène and Martine, both fifteen, live in a new neighborhood outside Paris. The city itself is out of reach for them. Outside of school they are glued to the radio, listening to their favorite radio stations Europe 1, Radio Caroline and an American station broadcasting from the army base Shape, not far from them. Marlène is sexually more advanced than Martine and this difference weighs on their relationship. Marlène knows exactly who and what she wants and Martine would like to be able to adopt the same attitude.
