Trojan Eddie plot

Eddie is a street vendor in a small village in the service of a powerful Irish clan. The head of this clan, John Power, wants to marry a woman from Eddie's village, but after the ceremony she promptly flees with Eddie's assistant and a briefcase of money. When Power then orders Eddie to find the woman and the money, he initially sees this as an opportunity to flee the village and the clan's influence, but the problems soon pile up.
