Angèle was 8 years old when the first McDonald's opened in East Berlin... Since then, she has been battling the curse of her generation: being born "too late" in a time of global political depression. Coming from a family of activists, her sister chose the business world and her mother gave up her political struggle to retire to the countryside alone. But her father, a former Maoist to whom she returns to live together, has remained as he was. Angèle is determined to change the world as much as he is to flee from amorous encounters.
