Masaya has always taken his mother's love for granted and he leaves her behind when his dream of admission to art school in Tokyo comes true. There he throws money and soon gets deeply into debt. Then the news reaches him that his mother has cancer. He looks for work and invites his mother to live with him in Tokyo.
