Katarina is 20 years old and lives in a gloomy suburb of Gothenburg. She has not finished school and is afraid that she will become like her alcoholic mother. One day she happens to see a YouTube video with a clip of Mozart and she is immediately captivated by that classical music. She manages to get hired as a receptionist at the city's concert hall. Adam, the conductor, catches sight of her and although he is married, they begin a relationship. Katarina is initially in heaven, but she soon realizes that she is not only risking her former life, but also the new identity she has assumed. She finds herself in a spiral of lies and deceit…
