Tiempo de lluvia plot

The Mexican state of Oaxaca, deep in the south of the country, is the habitat of the Mixtecs, one of the original Indian peoples. The traditional healer Soledad lives there with her seven-year-old grandson José. Her daughter Adela, Jose's mother, left for work in Mexico City years ago. One day Adela calls: she is getting married and would like Jose to come and live with her in town. Soledad has her reservations.
