"Don't do anything I wouldn't ..... which leaves you to do anything at all !"
Brett Aimsley was a young partner in a now bankrupt firm, where Clifford Southey was also an associate. During World War II, now Lieutenant Colonel Clifford Southey still feels inferior because of the humble job he held with the firm during peacetime. He now sees an opportunity to denounce Captain Brett Aimsley for bringing illegal goods to London. Aimsley is discharged from the army and leaves for the tropical island of Tahiti, where he has a great life in the sun. One day Southey comes to the island to build a hotel.
