There Was a Little Boy plot

Julie Warner (Shepherd), a high school English teacher, is pregnant; she and her husband Greg (Heard) are delighted, but their happiness is somewhat overshadowed by the memory of their baby's kidnapping fifteen years earlier. The case remained unsolved and the child was never found. At school, she cares about the fate of Jesse (Bairstow), who comes from a poor social background and has a sickly mother. A special bond develops between her and the advanced student.
