Two older sisters, widows, have been spending the summer in their cottage on the coast for 50 years. Libby is blind and already preparing for her death. Sarah cares for her sister and is interested in the Russian aristocrat who fishes in their coastal town. On Sarah's 46th wedding anniversary, the Russian brings a few caught fish as a gift and Sarah ponders what to do with her sister and whether to sell the house.
