The Trouble with the Truth plot

"There are two sides to every love story."

Musician Robert is an eternally hungry artist with few fixed costs and a minimum of obligations. When Robert's daughter announces that he is getting married, he advises her not to do this. His own marriage to Emily didn't last and he doesn't understand why anyone would give up his freedom. But when Robert and Emily meet again, reminiscing about old memories and hurts, they discover that there are still a lot of issues left unsolved and that love, marriage, divorce weren't all as easy as they would have liked.
