The Territory plot

Two couples go on a hike with a guide into a nature reserve. Friction quickly develops in the group when it is suspected that the guide is leading them in circles. At the end of the day, the guide leaves the group sore and does not return. The next day, the group continues in good spirits, even when they find the body of the missing guide near a lake. But no matter how long and how far they walk, they still don't get any further. When the provisions run out and they come across the corpse of their guide for the umpteenth time, the mental state of the group also appears to be lost.
