Doctor Michael Reynolds is a renowned physician. At some point he must investigate Blue, a young criminal. He determines that the criminal does not have long to live. On his transfer to another hospital, Blue overpowers the doctor and kidnaps him. At gunpoint, he forces him to drive toward Colorado. During the eventful journey through the desert, the doctor and the criminal get to know each other better, but the mutual suspicion remains...
