After a major shooting at a police funeral, reclusive ex-cop Gannon is unknowingly forced to retire, when he realizes the killer belongs to the same militia he accompanied after the military's cessation. Thinking the shooting could set off a chain reaction of copycat violence across the country, Gannon hides with his fellow soldiers in a remote sawmill they call their headquarters. There he embarks on a grueling series of interrogations, determined to track down the killer and hand him over to authorities to prevent further bloodshed.
